BAMBALER

Hallohaaaa
Beberapa waktu yang lalu saya mengunjungi salah satu potensi wisata khas di Barito Selatan, BAMBALER. Bambaler merupakan suatu dusun yang seluruh aktivitas masyarakatnya tinggal di atas lanting (rumah di atas air). Di tempat ini juga terdapat pendangan yang menarik seperti flora dan fauna khas. Hal inilah yang menarik perhatian saya untuk terjun langsung melihat keunikan daerah ini.

South Barito Regency has many potential atractions of influence for cultural preservation. It makes our cultural rich and diverse. South Barito Regency with every six sub-district have many object potential, for example there are Village of Orchids in Sanggu and Floating Residences Bambaler (one of object potential in South Dusun sub-district), Habitat of Borneo Marsh Buffalo in Tampulang Village (Jenamas sub-district), Pangantuhu Heritage Dayak Bajaju in Mangkatip (Dusun Hilir sub-district), Ayuh River Expedition in GBA sub-district, Ijambe Hall in Bundar  Village (North Dusun sub-district), and Red Arwana in Raya Lake (Karau Kuala sub-district).

Here I’ll tell about one of destinations that I know, it’s Floating Residences in Dusun of Bambaler.

Bambaler is located in Maliau river. There are 126 results of  floating residences, consisting 115 heads of household. The life of the population that is 100% do on the water. Another uniqueness of the fishery is conducted, then socio-cultural process everyday of the people. Besides it, there are many fauna like monkeys, apes, white storks, bakaka, ferret water, prosboscies monkeys like  proboscis yellow and brown hairy then exist of the “Rare Beaver Hairy Nose” that already registered by International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to one of rare animals must be protect in South East Asia region.

Dusun of Bambaler that formed since 1972 also have overflow of natural resources that exist of gold grains. Its proven when official of culture and tourism side in South Barito Regency dig deeper and find many tough soil in edges of maliau river containing gold grains.

As a South Barito people, I have to proud..:)
